Family picture of the cigar boxes I’ve been fixing up! The one on the bottom is new.
Inside!
Made another one! This one has a little hook on the front that can be used to display small objects… keychains, earrings, whatever.
Breakfast napkin doodle!
And, last picture, a bit of embroidery on her vest.
A view of her chicken legs (heh) and underoos.
A close-up of her lovely chin wart.
I’m visiting my parents, so I figured I’d take some portfolio pictures of the wizened old crone maquette I made in college.
One more papered/sanded cigar box.
Here’s the inside!
I took apart this awesome cigar box, sanded it to within an inch of its life and fancied it up with rice paper.
I carved a turnip into a Paleolithic arrowhead, because playing with your food never stops being fun. Time to go hunt down Christmas dinner!
Got some work in the Spectrum annual! It’s a giant hardcover this year. You could kill a mountain lion with it.
One more shot, with a penny for scale. The table tilts, the chair swivels to adjust the height of the seat, and the drawer on the nightstand opens.
I made all of the furniture in here from scratch a few years ago. The drafting table and swivel chair are made from cherry and steel, and the nightstand is basswood! The scale is 1’ to 1”.
Doodling a lil comic about sudden late-night neurosis.
Alex and I got a little, uhh… bored during our stopover in Cleveland.
Here’s my awesome temporary roommate, getting some work done.
